Compressed air-system assessment and optimization USER training

Call for Applications

Compressed air systems are used across manufacturing sectors around the world. International experience shows that these systems allow for extensive energy savings with minor investment and a rapid return on investment. In November 2017, a user training took place that was attended by 31 participants from 24 organizations. Due to significant interest, the training will be carried out again.

The project “Catalyzing market transformation for industrial energy efficiency and accelerating investments in best available technologies and practices” funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) invites you to attend a compressed air-system optimization training that will take place in June 2021. The training is organized by the Regional Environmental Centre (REC COM) with funding and support by GEF and UNIDO.

The training will take place online and is free of charge.

The training will last 3 days, 8:00 – 14:00 with 30-minute breaks at 10:00 and 12:00.

Day 1. Supply side of the systems: compressed air generation equipment and cost of compressed air

Day 2. Compressed air treatment and distribution, and uses

Day 3. Compressed air systems assessment and optimization

6 potential dates for the user training will be put to a vote: The 3 days that receive the largest number of votes will be fixed for the training.
